Welcome to the home of the Nostalgics, southern Colorado's premiere doo-wop/oldies band. Fun is the name of the game, as we perform your favorite hits by the Marcells, the Platters, Dion, Danny and the Juniors, Bill Haley, Del Shannon, and many others, from the late 50's and early 60's.
The Nostalgics are available for most types of engagements, from weddings, and parties, to night clubs and concerts. Here's a couple of samples of what we have to offer.

This is a question we get asked pretty regularly. Doo-Wop is a distinctly American musical genre, which flourished in the 1950's and early 1960's, right up until the British Invasion, when the Beatles, and other British groups stole the show, and turned the pop music world topsy-turvy, almost overnight.
The groups featured three, and four-part harmonies, with strong bass vocal lines, and lead vocals which frequently reached into the high falseto ranges. They were charactarized by nonsensical sylables such as "doobie-do-ah", "shoo-vap shoo-vah","doo-ah-doo", etc. It was a time of great fun and had a lasting effect on pop music.
